This artwork measures 18 × 12 inches, printed with a 1-inch white border on 20 × 14-inch paper.
Produced on 330gsm, acid-free, 100% cotton rag fine art paper using Epson SureColor archival pigment inks for exceptional color accuracy and longevity.
Each print is individually hand-signed in my California studio.
This was my first black-and-white colored pencil drawing. The original setup was very colorful, with yellow tulips in a green vase, but removing the color helped to focus the composition and ultimately made the drawing stronger. I loved creating it. The drama of the dark background and the beautiful light on the tulips give it a quality that feels different from the rest of my work, and it remains one of the more unique drawings in my portfolio.
Orders are accepted through October 15. Once the collection closes, each print is printed, individually inspected, and carefully packaged in archival materials. Prints ship rolled in a sturdy mailing tube for maximum protection. Orders will begin shipping in early November.
